After their acclaimed first single “Microlite”, released in November, and a host of live shows around the UK (including a support slot for A-list band Foals), Brighton based indie electronic act Trophy Wife have announced they will be releasing their new single “The Quiet Earth / White Horses” on February 28th on Moshi Moshi Records.
This single is already gathering momentum on the internet and cementing the band’s reputation as a force to count with in 2011. “The Quiet Earth” has received the remix treatment by the hand of English folktronica artist James Yuill. Check it out below, as well as an acoustic version of “Microlite”.
