It’s been a long time coming, but it seems UK synthpop maestro Grum (born Graeme Shepherd) is finally ready to come out of hiding, and he comes bearing gifts. In less than a month, he has released three massive remixes that share a common full-on synthesizer, big room style. Perfect way to start the weekend!

The first remix takes on UK duo Paper Crows’ single “Changing Colours”, giving it an impeccable glittering dancefloor makeover and the second reinvents Lonsdale Boys Club’s “Light Me Up” with big old fat synths and a bouncy synth bassline.

Robosonic aka Cord and Sacha have been building a reputation for producing multidimensional electronic music ever since the release of their highly acclaimed debut album Sturm und Drang in 2007 on their own label Diskomafia.

The duo’s most recent release is the Worst Love EP, a breezy summer-ready record, included two new original tracks and two remixes by Doctor Dru and Fritz Zander. Celsius is a London-based electro house act active since 2011. Not much else is known about the artist behind this mysterious moniker, but one thing is for sure: his debut EP, Super FM, is already earning rave reviews across the board. With early support from the likes of Annie Mac, Zombie Disco Squad, Perseus, Ben Mono, Grum or Alex Metric, Celsius has already been tagged as “one to watch in 2012″ by BBC Radio 1′s Jaymo & Andy George.

Celsius brings all that UK groove from the 90s and early 00s back into the mix. 2-Step, house and garage influences are in full effect here, only this time round there’s a more delicate and haunting touch. String stabs, synth breakdowns and intricate arpeggios work in unison aiming this EP straight at the heart then down to command the feet.

Dubbed the Godfather of French electro by I-D magazine, Joakim has been pumping out eclectic, trendsetting records for the better part of the 2000s to almost unanimous critical acclaim. His latest endeavour is the Nothing Gold EP, released last April 9th on Joakim’s own label Tigersushi. Available on vinyl or MP3, the EP features a new version of the title track, as well as remixes by Le Loup and Norway’s own Todd Terje.

Joakim is also a very respected remixer, who has worked with some of the most talented artists around. You have almost surely danced to one of his classy productions without even knowing it. These include remixes for Cut Copy, Röyksopp, Metronomy, Robyn, Kleerup, DJ Mehdi, Revolver, Friendly Fires, Alter Ego, Poni Hoax and the list goes on…

Berlin-based, Sweden-born DJ, producer and Trunkfunk Records label owner Fredrik Nyberg has long been a key player in Sweden’s music scene. After taking his first steps in Gothenburg’s hiphop scene, he discovered techno and set up his own label in 2000. Trunkfunk quickly became one of Sweden’s most in-demand independent labels, with releases from Stuffa, The Touch, Uniforms, David Ekenbäck and Trevor Loveys.

In 2001 DJ Nibc released his debut single “Deliverance” and in 2003 he was voted Sweden’s Best DJ. Nyberg subsequently teamed up with Carl Rydén, as Tyken, and with Jonas Rathsman, as Stuffa, to explore new musical directions and sounds.

After the success of his 2010 solo release “Hold On”, DJ Nibc continues on his hot streak with his followup hits “The Doorman” and “Call Me”, two sexy deep house jams, with groovy beats and infectious basslines.

To extend their journey of endless summer, Melbourne’s own Cadillac recently released a collection of remixes from their self-titled debut EP. They had been kept as a vinyl exclusive until now but they are finally available digitally via Sydney-based label Future Classic (also home to fellow Aussie hot-shots New Navy and Flight Facilities).

On the heels of their killer album Electric Hustle, Kraak & Smaak release the second in an occasional series of dancefloor slayers neatly entitled Kraak Beats. Having already released a classy pair of laid back house numbers on KB Vol. 1, the boys follow up with two understated gems,  “Runnin” and “This Feeling”, plus bonus track “BPLB”, which they are giving away as a free download on their SoundCloud.

Having recently shaken up dancefloors across Australia with a whirlwind run of live dates, Toronto disco house mavens Azari & III have decided to thank their faithful fans with a free remix! The band are sharing their single “Into the Night” as remixed by Modular label mates Softwar.

Australian purveyor of electro dance Sneaky Sound System recently released their new jam “Really Want To See You Again”. It’s the third single to be lifted off their chart-topping album From Here To Anywhere, out globally on Modular.

Previous singles “We Love” and “Big” have enjoyed ARIA Top 40 success on the club chart and “Really Want To See You Again” seems to be heading down the same road. Released on March 9th, the song is backed by three remixes courtesy of Azari & III, Funkagenda JamXpress and KiNK.
