Aussie electropop duo Flight Facilities have a brand new single called ‘With You’, this time featuring the vocal work of Hot Chip drummer Grovesnor – something darker, something deeper and something more mature.

SF-based electropop duo Midi Matilda is the fruit of a long collaboration between Logan Grimé and Skyler Kilborn, two musicians who met at college in 2008 and have been making music ever since. They craft the kind of catchy indie-flavoured pop gems that worm their way into your brain and stay there for days on end. Filled with bubbly synths, careless falsetto vocals and punchy beats, the band’s debut EP, Red Light District, has been getting a lot of heat since its release last February.

After the sweeping success of their Kitsune-backed single “Manners” and their critically acclaimed debut EP, Nights Like This, Stockholm electropop duo Icona Pop are finally back with the single “I Love It”, a fine slice of euphoric power pop with “summer hit” written all over it.

Driven by an infectious chanted chorus and a frantic Guetta-esque beat, this instant floorfiller is already out in Sweden and should get a worldwide release soon. Written by Charli XCX and co-produced by Patrick Berger (Tove Styrke, The Good Natured, Lana del Rey) and Style of Eye, the song comes with a cool video directed by Fredrik Etoall.

After months of touring across America, L.A’s own Capital Cities found their way back to the studio to record a new single called “Kangaroo Court”. With this beautiful slice of effervescent electropop the duo picks up right where they left off with previous single “Safe and Sound”. It’s quirky, and yet extremely catchy, exactly the kind of tune that should please the band’s ever-growing fan base.

Van She have finally announced the release of their long awaited sophomore record, Idea Of Happiness. The album will be out internationally next July via Modular Recordings but you can already take a listen to the first cut and title track below to get a taste of things to come.

Recorded, engineered and produced by the band themselves in Kings Cross, Sydney and mixed in Los Angeles with Tony Hoffer (the perfect man for the job with a resume that includes work with Beck, Air, Phoenix and M83), the final result is so uplifting it’s practically levitational.

An organically grown, highly addictive electropop outfit from Iceland, FM Belfast have been capturing the imaginations of constantly growing audiences throughout the world ever since they first appeared on Iceland’s notoriously vibrant music scene in 2006.

From Denmark by way of Brooklyn, electropop sensation Oh Land wowed us last year with her single “Son of a Gun” and its subsequent remix by DJ/producer Yuksek.

Robotic Birds are brothers Tactical and Andrew Boss. Formed in 2006, the direction of the duo has evolved many times leading up to the debut EP Lovers in the Future. Blending vintage sounds with modern textures, it is often difficult to classify Robotic Birds. Sometimes exploring electropop, while other times pumping out drum & bass beats, there is definitely something in it for everyone.

Canadian new wave revivalists Dragonette unveil their new track “The Right Woman”, the first taste of their highly awaited third album. It is featured on Diane von Furstenberg’s Women’s Day compilation Proud to be Woman Vol. 3 and all proceeds will go to an organization dedicated to empowering women worldwide.

Produced in collaboration with Felix Bloxson, who usually works under the Plastic Plates moniker, “The Right Woman” is Dragonette’s first original new track since the summer of 2010 (Our Summer/Volcano single). With its nice combination of punchy beats, glittering synths and sultry vocals, this song proves Dragonette are back in good form!

To celebrate this release, here’s a couple of Dragonette goodies: the first track is the band’s classic hit “I Get Around” remixed by Midnight Juggernauts, the second is a pumped up remix of “Pick Up The Phone” by Van She‘s own Michael DiFrancesco.
