Ladyhawke is the stage name of New-Zealand born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Phillipa ‘Pip’ Brown. She plays electric, bass and acoustic guitars, synthesizers and drums and usually performs all of the above on her studio recordings.

Influenced by 80s music, her musical style blends new wave, indie rock and electropop. Her self-titled debut album was released on Modular Recordings in September 2008. She is best known for the singles “Paris Is Burning” and “My Delirium”.
