What happens when you put NZ songstress Kimbra, Foster the People frontman Mark Foster and Quebec electro sensation A-trak in a studio for a week? They put together a ridiculously punchy new track, complete with syncopated beats and synths galore.
Kimbra + Mark Foster + A-trak – Warrior
“Warrior” is the latest track in the Converse Three Artists – One Song series, which has seen collaborations from the likes of James Murphy, Andre 3000 and Gorillaz on “DoYaThing”, Santigold, Julian Casablancas and Pharrell Williams on “My Drive Thru” or Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy and Andrew W.K. on “I’m a Goner”.
The song was released on April 5th and it’s available as a free download from the official Converse Plug into Color website.

…is it just me, or does “warrior” kinda sound like a hundred or more forgettable songs that came out of the 80′s? I LOVE these guys (esp. Kimbra), but this just doesn’t cut it for me unfortunately. Disappointed
